Filter media are the heart of pool filters and are essential to keeping water clear and clean. Filter media capture impurities and dirt particles. There are different types of filter media, such as PPG Glass Filter Media, sand and gravel. Our absolute top product is AFM®ng.
AFM®ng is manufactured from recycled green and brown glass and undergoes a unique activation process that makes it self-sterilizing. Thanks to its advanced mechanical and electrostatic filtration properties, AFM®ng removes dirt particles down to 1 micron. This level of filtration is much more accurate than traditional sand.
